Coming from a family of classical musicians, the german-swedish singer and composer Anna.Luca started her musical career early at the piano.

As a teenager, the classical trained pianist searched for a more free and direct form of expression and discovered her voice and songwriting as the right form for her artistry. She experimented with Hip Hop, Electronica, listened a lot to Tom Waits and fell in love with Jazz.  While studying at the Artez conservatory in Arnhem, Netherlands, she was discovered by the well-known Nu-Jazz project Club des Belugas
Over the years Anna Luca has sung and co-written songs for nine "Club des Belugas" Albums, done collaborations with Kommando Himmelfahrt, Wuppertaler Bühnen, Staatstheater Mannheim and numerous artist and ensembles such as the "Camerata Bern", released two solo albums and worked as a composer, musical advisor and musician for TV and film.

In recent years, Anna.Luca has increasingly focused on composing for film and television, drawing from her diverse musical background. She has composed music for independent films and short films and wrote the score for three seasons of the critically acclaimed Servus Baby (Bayerischer Rundfunk), where she also took on the role of Musical Director from Season 2 onward. Her work extends to composing for Der Bergdoktor and other major productions, as well as writing orchestral works and avant-garde jazz pieces. At the same time, she has a deep affinity for crafting emotional and intimate love songs for movies. Her versatility—rooted in her classical piano training, jazz education, and years spent as an electro singer in clubs—enables her to shape and support film material with a rich and dynamic musical language.
